2. Flinders Island

This is the place to go if you would like to travel upwards rather than into the earth. There is a breathtaking view to be found at the top of this mountain, and you will be able to take in all of Tasmania from the 1,270 meter peak. 5. Salamanca Place

If you would like to get out of the wilderness for a day, then you should look into spending a few hours at Salamanca Place. The Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, and you will be able to take a look at amazing local artwork when you walk through the market. There is also a music scene found in this town that you will be able to look into at night, so your stay in Hobart may be able to last longer than you would think.
